Our Partners
No organization can successfully combat human trafficking on its own. Our partnership with other anti-trafficking organizations who share similar missions and goals strengthens our efforts to prevent human trafficking and assist survivors as they rebuild their lives. Shown below is the diverse network of organizations with whom we collaborate.
Social Services & Health Providers
Operating LifeWay Network’s safe housing program involves the collaboration of many experienced providers, from the agencies that refer women and provide ongoing social services and advocacy to those that provide counseling and medical services. These partners include:
Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Forces to Combat Human Trafficking
Recognizing the need to develop a coordinated approach to human trafficking that involves a range of partners, the U.S. Department of Justice supports a number of multidisciplinary task forces across the United States. LifeWay Network is an active participant in the following task forces:
Brooklyn District Attorney’s Human Trafficking Task Force (Kings County)
Westchester Anti-Trafficking Task Force (Westchester County)
Legal Services and Law Enforcement Partners
To ensure the legal rights and safety of the women survivors whom we serve, we have ongoing relationships with a wide range of law enforcement personnel and agencies, including the NYPD anti-trafficking unit, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations victim assistance specialists, legal advocates and the district attorney’s office. All these work to provide the legal support the women need to ensure their rights are protected and to navigate the court and legal systems.
